58th European FEMA Championship for tethered model cars
Örebro 28 July – 2 August 2009
The championship this year was held in Örebro, center of the swedish racing where the legendary swedish F1-racer Ronnie Pettersson once was born. 99 competitors from 14 countries entered the scene and thanks to a superb organization and a track for the model cars well reputed for its high standard the cars could be raced without problem although weather-conditions changed dramatically between sunny skies and heavy rain. The film gives a short historical overview of the development of tethered car racing, the participants preparation before the contest, the opening ceremony and of course some of the best races in all the 5 different classes.
